Thanks all....Crissue...Fed once, fish blood and bone and any spent compost through the season...Poor Earnest, we had heavy wind and rain and it knocked him off his perch...He has now totally collapsed onto the ground...Hope you're feeling a little better x...:>)
Thanks for that Annella...
N2..He's a Clematis 'Earnest Markham'...:>)

Oh no...poor Ernie...can you get him back up again...
We had a little frost last night, so I'm watching everything, and ready to delegate fleeceing etc to OH where it's needed...:))
I am feeling a bit better thanks Moti...I had the best night sleep so far...tummy is still upset a bit from the AB's but have Imodium to help...
So glad you liked 'Guernsey Cream' I loved it as soon as I saw it, and such a delicate scent too, what a bonus...looking forward to seing them both next year....and their flowering times are the same...
I'm very behind on all the pics, will catch up where i can x

Hi Crissue...glad to hear you're feeling a little better...Takes it out of you doesnt it?...It will be a while before you feel 100%...so take things slowly..:>)
I dont think i'll be able to get Ernie back up he came away from the trellis and is lying in a heap...all the flowers are buried...im not surprised he fell really with the weight he was carrying...The winds here were unbelievable...x

You took that photo just in time then Moti . . . what a shame we've had such rotten weather (though I think you've had it worse in NI). That certainly was a wonderful show. :-))

Hi Muddy...Thanks for that, the weather has been awful, even a bit scary at times
I'll be sorting out the Dahlia for you soon ...:>)
