I love the colours Amy... much like the euonymous but oh the thorns! Once moved a whole hedge of these, which was planted to discourage foot traffic across an urban lawn... lovely shrubs and the thorns go in, break off under the skin, and then erupt back out! Glorious...it was 90 deg. F. in the shade that day and I was working in a tee shirt...to add insult to the prickles I had a sunburn as well... what a memory!

Golly , that was a nasty job Lori , I love the description of the thorns going in and erupting out it sounds so painful LOL......

A person has to love gardening to recall times like those with a smile! LOL ;-)
