Jack my lad

Lovely Jack.
I've just had an email from a friend...
got herself a kitten from Rescue,
...her older cat having died a few weeks ago..
She is so pleased with the new arrival. :o)

So sorry for your friend but pleased she as a new kitten to keep her company, whats she named it :)

I think she is choosing between a couple of names... waiting to see which name suits...
The kitten is 12 weeks old :o)

Are it is only a kitten, with Jack because i did'nt know which name to chose i wrote names on pieces of paper dropped them on the floor and said which ever piece of paper he played with first that was his name.

That was a fun way to choose a name.!
In the past, my friend rescued older cats... it seems years since she had a kitten. :o)

Blimey, to be honest i'd forgot just how playful little kittens can be, as it was 19yrs since Smokey and his brother Bandit was babies, there again i was younger aswell, these two never seemed to stop,especially little Tilly she was forever running up the walls, curtain infact she was always doing things she should'nt, but know she is quite a timid cat when anyone comes round.

Jack and Tilly have both grown up into lovely cats.

Bless him, Smokey very often still comes up in conversations at home, and he is'nt talked about as in the past everyone still talks about him as if he is still here, there again i still very often call Tilly and Jack Smokey by mistake.

Lovely set of photos, Clarice, Jack has certainly grown into a very handsome cat. I sometimes call Millie 'Chloe' and even Teena, after the little dog I had many years ago! Our old companions live on, don't they?
