Thanks very much Terratoonie :) I've thinned the v.b out a bit now as I've decided to rework this area. I'm half way through project 'Circle' - which has involved shrinking the central green area of grass (you can see in the pic) to half its size so the border is more substantial. I'll create a blog soon of my progress. Took me best part of a year to convince my other half that losing more lawn was a good thing :0)

Vb doesn't do too well in my garden ... not sure why.
I wonder how much your lawn has reduced in size ...
