Think I really do need an eye test, they did send for me before Christmas. Looking through a back window early the other morning, I saw a small pure white bird on the roof opposite. I was so excited, but couldn't go to fetch my specs in case it flew away and I'd never know what it was. It was still quite dark and very murky and as I peered through the gloom, I gradually saw the outline of a magpie...did I feel stupid. Not quite as bad as Bloomers big cat adventure though, at least I never reported my 'find' to anyone:-))

Great picture, a good day had by all I would guess! My OH said he recognised the bloke with a white beard..he said he is always gatecrashing peoples christmas parties!

Thanks Tet..he not only gatecrashed,he butted in our conversation too..if we happened to get too close ,to smack his hand for being rude,he kept saying 'Merry Christmas'..very limited in his vocabulary.! We are going again on Saturday,so hopefully he will have gone back to the North pole now.:o))
