whoa! I love that!! That is (to my eye) 'Japanese' style, which I have always adored. Sheila...I do like the flash...it looks like a beacon of light in the painting! :))

its not so far from Barnstable on the north Devon coast

Hi Tet - good to see you! I did a few some years ago, then gave it up in 2004 to do a garden design course. Since then I've only painted once a year for a Christmas card (which are getting steadily worse - OH doesn't know why I bother, lol)!

Been a bit inspired by some gorgeous photos on this site, so might have another dabble some time. What about you??
