It's quite empty all the time Fran - even in summer you won't find many people on this beach.

it cost is £2.50 to get in. Masses of carparks, can't be that quiet in summer.....

I was going to say that a beach this big could comfortably absorb a lot of visitors, but people to have a tendency to overcrowd a space, no matter how big it is

We have a similar beach with beach huts and a pine forest we also have to pay £ 3. doesn't go down very well with the locals who want to take their dogs for walks ! we were there on Sunday ..

Understandable, Amy: I think I'd tend towards the "peeved" end of the scale myself. A lot of beaches have no-dog signs, I've noticed - well, a lot of the beaches I've seen recently, I've not done a natioanal survey! but that might not apply to off-season or out-of-hours.

Unfortunate, but that's what happens when people live somewhere nice - or when other people can't live somewhere nice, they have to take it where they can find it.
