Looks like a Warren hen, we used to keep them. The cockerel was a bit fierce though and kept all the girls safe. Thought perhaps you had started to keep hens. We kept a few bantams when we lived down the road in our quarter acre plot and let them out during the winter and they really cleaned the ground.

Not tempted to keep any yet but yes they do do a bit of weeding over on the veg patch
