i love making it.
what else will you put on it.
16 Mar, 2012
Tomato sauce (make a batch, freeze in ice cube trays and bag up just for pizza), pepperoni, mushrooms, onion, peppers, sliced chilli and mozzerella. Just gotta go for it!
16 Mar, 2012
few more cheeses? eg bit of stilton and some parmesan.
also i roll out the dough in polenta, seems to work well
16 Mar, 2012
Pizza has mozz Sticki - that's it!
I spin my dough!
16 Mar, 2012

i like four cheese pizza! as well as several other types. i have friends who had a pizza oven built in their garden!!
16 Mar, 2012
I was teasing!! I have to do it the usual way I'm afraid.
I would love a pizza oven, but then that's all I would probably eat. I have got a pizza stone though, which works really well!
16 Mar, 2012
i had a feeling you might have been thats why i wanted the photo!!
i had a pizza stone but i couldnt get it to work very well.

Thats the kind I make Meanie except I make the sauce with Onions Courgettes and Peppers Toms . from the garden in the summer and then freeze it in portions and don't forget a few Olives .....
The Sri Lankan curry is very easy The recipe says Prawns but tonight I used chicken
Ingredients .
50g pineapple .........1 small onion chopped finely .....
2 tbsp veg oil ....2 bay leaves .....2 stems lemon grass very finely chopped ....1/2 tsp crushed chilli flakes . ...1 tsp chilli powder .... 1 tsp paprika... 1/2 tsp mustard seeds crushed ... 1/2 tsp turmeric .. 200ml tinned coconut milk........
1/2 tsp fennel seeds .... 1 tsp salt... 1 large red pepper ... I put matchstick size carrot sticks in as well ..
.........................
Decoration .. to serve scattered over curry ....
1 fresh red chilli ,finely chopped .. juice of 1 lime ... coriander chopped ...
........................................ fry the chicken chunks if using chicken .. set to one side ... fry the veg for approx 10 mins with the lemon grass and bay leaves ... add the pineapple and all the other spices .except Fennel seeds .. if you are using prawns instead of chicken put them in now cook for 5 mins ....... pour in the coconut milk ...sprinkle with the fennel seeds , simmer for 5 mins add the lime juice ... serve with the red chilli and coriander ... .. enjoy ..

oooh thank you amy, i will try that next week, sounds lovely.
16 Mar, 2012
That's Sunday sorted too - thanks Amy!
I put the stone in when I turn the oven on Sticki.
16 Mar, 2012
dont think i have got it any more!
might be in the garage, will have a look.
but if the stone is hot how do you transfer the stretched and covered dough onto it?
when i make pizza i put it onto the tray then put the topping on.
16 Mar, 2012
"but if the stone is hot how do you transfer the stretched and covered dough onto it?"
There's a knack to it (and a lot of mess learning it!).
Basically, slide it off of a floured bread board, quickly!
16 Mar, 2012
Like a generation game challenge? Or does that show my age?
16 Mar, 2012
I have no idea what you're on about!!!!!!!!!!!!
16 Mar, 2012
;-)
Really?
17 Mar, 2012
Errrrr - teasing again!!!
17 Mar, 2012
Thought so!
Just had a thought you could grow mushrooms in that new cellar and put them on the pizza too!
17 Mar, 2012
I've a feeling that the cellar could be for orchids!
17 Mar, 2012
With no light?
17 Mar, 2012
Artificial lights on a timer..........
17 Mar, 2012
Interesting, with daylight bulbs?
17 Mar, 2012

I've just found my local Morrison's, if that's what the "M" stands for; I'll have to check out their pizza choices: I don't buy them normally because I loathe and detest tomato in any and all forms (force fed as a kid) so finding a made pizza that I can actually eat is impossible - I managed to train my local pizza place to leave tomato out, but that was before I moved. I've bought pizza bases to make my own, but if I can buy tomato-free ....
17 Mar, 2012
Meanie, that sounds about right for Sticki, she loves her food, Fran our Morrisons are doing a million pound re furb and have only just started doing these Pizzas, good luck anyway,
17 Mar, 2012
ah, right; I've only just found my local and only did a shop with help that was timed, so we couldn't linger or stroll to see what else might have been there. Still, now I know where it is, i can always go back on my own and take as much time as I need.
17 Mar, 2012
Fran I often make a quick Pizza using a scone recipe ,include lots of grated cheese in with flour , you can make it in about 5 mins and I like it as much if not more than a bread type base , you could fry onions ,peppers courgettes etc to put on it excluding tomatos then top it with Pepperoni or what ever variety topping you like ...
17 Mar, 2012
Sorry Yorkshire!
17 Mar, 2012
Sorry meanie
17 Mar, 2012

17 Mar, 2012
