The Lakes District is my favourite place too (apart from home!). Would love to go back again, it's been some years now since we had holidys there. Perhaps one day....

PP ~ i dont know how i had missed your blog ~ its really beautiful. I can see the weather was not what you may have hoped but in some of those pictures it makes a stunning view!! What a delightful cottage and that stream/beck in the village ~ just lovely.
