It hasn't been as bad as forecast here,Carole.sunny till about mid morning,and then a heavy shower,but drizzly most of the day after that..not good for the weekend either ..really sick of it now,as you sound to be as well..:o(

Lovely picture Bloomer, Lovely to see the tree structures in the winter, but we noticed some green appearing on the trees yesterday as we drove along the Derbyshire country lanes yesterday and the grass is getting a bright green colour now. Lots of little lambs leaping about enjoying the bit of sunshine that we had in the morning.

is opposite my next door neighbours house..and is a real pain when it sheds its leaves..it has a TPO on it,so we can't prune some of the lower branches back..we all like it,but it has it's disadvantages..blocking light etc..but the birds love it :o)

lol! aye its not so warm up here either..need to get my mitten out..you know the ones with elastic?

Someone close to here has just had their very large sycamore tree branches lopped off so all we can see are big bare cut off branches. I suppose the tree was becoming unsafe near to peoples homes. We did get a lot of seeds in our garden from it.

Thanks Ba..I agree,but would be nice to have some of the overhanging branches pruned back,as they are right over our road..I think a really bad storm might be a bit of a hazard ..
