Thankyou everyone...We're pleased, nearly there...Did a bit outside this morning mainly clearing up, and putting Pots in place etc, all takes time and my feet have had enough lol...

Hi Pix...Sweetie does like to sit by the pond, she's a very poorly little one, and has been for about three weeks now, we feed her from a spoon, she can't manage by herself..and we also have an intense liquid food from the Vet, that reminds me of, Cod liver oil and malt to look at, and texture...she had a virus, that has knocked her sideways...she's skin and bone at the moment, but she's getting extra love and cuddles...+ Our Freckles is pregnant, oh my...she escaped...

Hope everyone is enjoying their Bank Holiday, ours here was last week, and we have another on Tuesday...ta da...

I had Suki at vet last week she had a swollen bottom lip ( has had it before and jsut went away) He gave he antibiotics which are nearly done now..and had a job giving them to her! THe swelling has gone down a bit but not toally..hope it rights itself! 40pounds for that, then he said should have a scale and polish as her teeth look awful, but that is going to be 150! Deary me, I didnt know people cleaned cat's eeth! She is nearly 15 so I'm not sure I want to put her through that trauma.

Hi Pix....sorry about Suki...it is a worry when something happens to them...Sweetie is going back to the Vet this afternoon, she's a poorly little one, and we're trying so hard to help her, I just hope it is not more serious than the vet first diagnosed...We are very worried, as you must be with Suki...£150, yikes, I know the bills are steep, frightening isn't it...Do they have to sedate her to do the teeth..??

yes they do , I expect that's why its so expensive! But as she is so old and never had her teeth cleaned in her life, I;m thinking it s not worth it really :)

I always thought the Croquettes, the little biscuits they have help clean the teeth...I'll have to look at the older ones teeth...

Meant to say, that usually the girls with the excetion of Snoball are on the pill during mating season, but because Freckles had a cyst removed, a few months ago, we kept her in when she came into season..but I think we acted late on the signs...oh well...

Thankyou Carol, DD, & Hb...OH was quite clever, fitting it in on the curve of two borders meeting, so the only border to create really was the one to the right of the Pond as you look at it...+ I remembered what Olive Oil said about the Mint, and put a rooted piece in yesterday...

bet she wants to go fishing, i have 6 cats and a pond with fish and just one of my cats likes to go 'fishing'...

Cats on the pill? lol never heard of that before..why dont you jsut get them dressed? :)

None of mine seem interested in the fish, drinking the water yes, or pinching the pellets lol...

Very Poorly Pix, she's a very sick little one...she has special liquid supplements by tube, is anaemic, and the Vet will probably have her on a drip by Friday if there is no improvement...

That is so sad Sue , fingers crossed that she will recover very soon ........

sue it looks beautifull and like its been there for ever, i need something to shade, hard when the sun is there most of the day :o))

Oh my, perfect!

San, you only need bright light, and it starts getting cloudy...Olive Oil says that growing Mint in the water, helps to keep it clear, so I've put a couple of rooted pieces in...and a Parasol lol...
