Great iris, great name

Ooo look forward to seeing that one Amy, they do increase very quickly don't they.
I have one I rescued from the track along the bottom of the garden, think it had just been dumped there as it wasn't planted,but had a lovely brown flower, that was 3 years ago and at last it has buds yaay :-)

Remember last year Amy, when you asked your 'Iris Expert' friend about the mystery iris my neighbour has and he said Las Vegas - well, that's similar to yours - I have some of it so hopefully it will flower this year.

I do not have so lovely colours. I never seen Iris with these autumn colours. They are really soothing the eye :)

No blooms here yet either...lucky to have them out of the ground~ it has been so cold. Amazing colours...Wow it certainly is! "before the storm" sounds tantalizing..can't wait to see it. I have one that has come thro the move and survived last winter which is a deep rich dark purple and blessed if the name will come to me at this second. I have my fingers crossed that it will do ok in the new bed.

I will have to wait patiently until next year to see ' Before the storm ' Lori ... The time is about right here for the Iris's blooming ,nothing to do with my green fingers lol ....
