This rain has multiplied the aquilegia, they are all colours from blues, pinks- purples, quite lovely.

They are so pretty, these. I more or less let mine spread where they like and it's always interesting to see what colours I get.

Thanks all, Meadowland they are very tall and elegant, i like that!
Oji, I adore plants that fly around the border and as you say the colours are so varied.
Scottish, yours will spread after this summer, hopefully.
Michaella, thank you kindly, I do too.
Hi Simbad, thank you, the border is growing nicely after our big dig out last year, I am loving the garden once again! Great that your seeds are through, but we do need some warmth.
Paul, you are right, even though we moan about it! Lol
Pp. its exciting this time of year isnt it, waiting for what's to come!
Dd. after seeing Sarah Ravens efforts to grow bee friendly plants I am trying to do so too and I hope these Aquilegias are good for the bees. I have put lots of seeds in, love-in the-mist, cosmos etc. But we all need some sun dont we?

Think you are right B. it has to be down to all the rain that we have had! At least it has done some good, even if we are all fed up!
