Thanks all .it is Ph the garden has been buzzing away today you don't realise how many different kinds of Bees there are until you stand and watch them , I had the idea that I might photograph each kind but they buzzed about too quickly .....

I tried that as well but it didn't go well :o))) lots of fuzzy photos.

We have lots of those newcomers from Europe they are called Tree Bumblebees ..they have ginger heads black bodies and striking white rear end , apparently they are 'Good Guys ' and are welcome here ... Have you seen them Ph .?

Not knowingly, I have been reading about it I will have to have a closer look when im home on a sunny day.

Lovely to see a picture of this Amy, I got lots of plants of this and the pink seed you sent me, just been planting them out today, can't wait till they flower :-))
There are lots of different bees about aren't there I saw one today that looked like it had orange legwarmers on :-))

LOL I saw Bees like that Kathy they were loaded with pollen , I couldn't help wondering how they remove it from their legs when they returned to their hive perhaps they do a kind of rain dance to shake it off :o) it is a perennial Dawn I have this Blue one and a pink one ,the blue always flowers first , it's strange in that the pink one hardly produces any seed at least it didn't last year , I wil split you a piece from this later in the year :o)

Salvias are just the best plants...gorgeous
