Ivy Basket with Friends

Makes me laugh every time I see it, gave me a bit of a start when I went to water the basket

They are so tiny but still so loud, lovely little birds :o)

wrens are my favourite!! look at their grumpy little faces!! i love them!!

Sadly they have all gone, can hear them in the woods though

its good they have made it safely there!!

Why doesn't aything build in my baskets!!!! I'm totally envious!!
We had a Robin build a nest in an old kettle one year but it was one of those very cold springs & the babies all died!!

A robin built a nest in the same basket 2 years ago, must be the Ivy!

we have about 3 nest boxes in this garden but the only one they like is almost covered in ivy.

Yes I did Sticki, the robin nested in the same basket it is full of ivy and nothing else. It gives fantastic cover and shields the babies from the elements!!!

I will have to look it out and post it.
