These are my absolute fav's...especially the Lucifer ..that has to be the hottest red around. When I moved I got the corms mixed up with the Acidantheras...I've planted them all in various places and will have to wait for blooms to know which is which.

The weather is really getting to me now day after day is cold and wet Leigh, not what we gardeners want. I have so much to do in the garden but its just mud underfoot.

Yeah im scared of walking on the lawn and squishing it cus im tryn to get it back to health as it is!
22 Jul, 2012
my lawns have not had their usual care this year just to wet to tend properly, but at least they are green and not the usual straw colour we get this time of year in a dry summer.

Gosh my front lawn is just moss! Got a scarifier tho from freegle so that will help A LOT in august! Just the aerating that will be hard! :-)

oops lol didnt think that went through :-S

I would scarify and mow then do it again Leigh, then after a few days weed and feed - but dont leave it too long as I only feed/weed in March or April and July. In the autumn feed the lawn with an autumn lawn feed. Scarifying can leave it looking awful so do it soon so it re grows before winter.
