Oh do they live outside? WHen I come down in the mornng SUki is sitting waiting in the kitchen dor her Dreamies! She wont eat anything else at that time of day lol

These are mostly feral cats, Pixi, and rarely come into the house unless there's 2 metres of snow outside. They recognise a provider of food when they see one, though, and are prepared to gather in the porch, singing and claiming us as one of their own if dinner's cooking. :o)

The cats look lovely and healthy - and the plants do too!

The scarlet ones I brought back from B&Q in April - £1.50 for 6 of them! They seem to be very happy here and race ahead of their Italian counterparts. Hoping to keep 'em alive this winter, and add to them next spring. Such pretty drought-busters.

I was like DRC, looking at the plants which look great and then suddenly I noticed the 2 ginger cats and then finally the other 2 cats. great picture!

Me too! (In fact, I've just had to go back to spot nos 3 and 4!) The steps are so beautiful with those lovely plants. They're just right for steps, aren't they? (The cats are very appealing, too!)

Absolutely not, Pete, and we would have expected loads of them, and rats, too, seeing as we have a big chicken and duck house right next door. We get brought the odd body part as a gesture of goodwill now and then, though (rats and mice, not chickens and ducks). The cats eat scorpions, too, and the ducks wander in from next door and polish off a lot of the snails, so we have a good working relationship all round.

Yes, it's been quite noticeable here on clear days, but when it's grey, like it is today, it still seems dark even at 8.30 in the morning!

I think lots of forecasters do exaggerate, but then they are just covering their backs, and when it turns out better than predicted, we are all too grateful to complain!
What would you like pictures of, Annella? I'll do what I can to please. :o) I must admit this is a personal favourite.

Who would have thought we'd still be experiencing this cold after all this time? Every cold snap comes and goes, and before you know it - there's another one! The wind today is so c-c-c-cold!!!

It'd be nice just to have at least SOME sign that things were about to improve over the next 10 days, but no luck so far. I log into our online forecast site every night at just gone midnight in the hope that there might be a little improvement on the horizon, but no luck so far. :o(

We are told the cold weather is set to last for the rest of the week, with more snow likely on Good Friday. The odds on a white Easter are apparently 4 to 5. Great.
