Thank you ladies, we had to take out the lavender hedge, but it has opened out the garden, and we feel it looks a great deal better now.

Oh, just look at that! Absolutely stunning.....I want to be there! :D

Thanks Karen, making lots of changes this year......see blog!! Meadow you have to try these things, and if they dont work(lavender did not like where it was) it is back to the drawing board.......

Lovely garden Dotty. It's certainly challenging sometimes when plants don't like the soil or habitat that we plant them in. Lavender is lovely though and attracts lots of bees. Have you tried growing it in a pot Dotty, then you can move it about.

Why thanks Annella....I wish lol Lindak we have some in other parts of the garden, and it is growing between the three Hawthorns, but very tightly clipped, we have had trouble with this border before, so it has been gravelled, and some tuscan squares added for interest!!

More times than not Dottie, I tend to roll pots about these days........rather than lift them or use the trolley truck LOL

Now a truck is what we need, the pots with the bananas are very heavy now.....
