Meadowland - do you mean in the pot? It's leucadendron 'Safari Sunrise', a variegated protea. It's in a very gritty, free-draining compost mix and should take -8C during the winter but I will fleece it for extra protection.

Nice and colourful Andrew. The leaves on the trees are just beginning to turn now. Down the road is the river Derwent with trees along and up into hills and that view always is fantastic in the Autumn. It's called the Amber Valley.

colourful foliage lasts much longer than colourful flowers, and is more harmonious, creating an overall mood rather than oases of colour. love this planting, Andrew
