Yes Shirley, this is Ruby, we got her yesterday and another cat today, Pearl, Ruby is 8 weeks and Pearl is 12 weeks...They seem to be getting on ok, both are rescue kittens, and are quite wild....i intend to tame them....:>)

They'll love being with you Motty, but what does Charley think of them? ... :o)

Charley is living in another part of the house at the minute...lol, He sleeps in the sun room and the kittens are crated in the kitchen, they haven't actually met yet, i think it would be a bit too much, too soon for the kittens...:>)

Aw welcome cute Ruby and Pearl good luck with the training!! I hope they pass muster with Charley when the time is right!! :o)

Thanks Neellan...She is Shirley..and she's coming round really well, the bigger kitten has spent the afternoon up the chimney...I dont know what to do, ech time i reach for her, she goes further up...:<(

Oh no ... a bowl of kitten food/crunchy munchy bits should tempt her down ... is she trying to be Santa?! ... :o)))

Lol...The munchy bits didnt work Shirley.....She'd been up there 8 hours...OH put on a pair of tough gloves and i dont know what shape he got himself into, but he got her down and i've put her into the crate with munchy bits and water, which she wont touch....We'll see what tomorrow brings...:>)

Big pat on the back to OH for retrieving her ... sounds like there's some training ahead for Pearl ... :o)

Indeed Janey, Ruby is a delight and very trusting already, she and the rest of the litter were running wild up until Saturday, i took her home Saturday evening and shes litter trained already and having a great time....:>)

I'd love another cat but don't think it would be a good idea, daughter brought her kitten round yesterday and Symba was not impressed, the kitten chased him round the house arching his back, as little as he is, poor Symba ran upstairs wouldn't come down he wee'd up the wall, poo'd on the carpet, never done that ever and then he was sick he got himself in a right state, needless to say the kitten won't be coming round again, poor Symba:-(, he's ok today thank goodness, such a sensitive boy.

Ahh...Poor Symba, hope he's ok....Ruby does all the chasing in this house and she is so tiny...each time Pearl seems like she might come to me, Ruby jumps on her back and frightens her off...Poor Pearl....:>)

Ah...Thanks Crissue....I'll do my best for them...Last night i was watching TV and out of the blue Pearl jumped up beside me and sat against my leg for 2 or 3 minutes....I was afraid to move...Couldnt believe it...Her first day here, a week ago, she spent 8 hours up the chimney!!!...lol

She is so cute , sounds as if you are in for some fun and games in your home Motinot ,good luck with them I'msure they will settle in very soon , everytime I see a kitten pic I'm tempted to replace our lovely Marmy !
