Thanks Carole..I saw the forecast last night,for further west..how miserable..we just had it for about an hour,but not really heavy....and not cold at all..you can't believe how it is so different with just a few miles between us,can you? It must be those Pennine Hills ! Lol I hope you had a nice evening with Simon and Clare..:o)

Yes I've heard there's been lots and lots of rain, flooding in some parts. How have you fared?

We have done very well,compared to more Southerly regions,Bernieh..if you take a look at Spritzhenry's blog " Catastrophe" you will get the gist of how bad it was,and still is....so very sad..
