... photographed today ... loads of blooms and buds ...
I inherited this rose from my mother some years ago.
It was an un-named new, tiny plant she'd bought only a short time before she died.
Back then I had no idea it would grow so tall and beautiful ...
... and would flower for months on end. :o)))

Lovely rose. I bet you think of your mum when you look at it. My mum loved Pelargonians. She died 13 years ago, & then my dad followed her less than a year later. When their house was put up for sale, I walked around the garden & was amazed at how many Pelargonians there were. I knew my mum liked them, but did not know she had so many. So I took cuttings from the one I liked best, a very dark crimson with touches of white. The cuttings took well. When I moved from my house two years later, I remembered to take cuttings. But when I moved from that new house two years ago, I was so busy preparing for our first trip to America to vist sons & grandchildren, & doing the move itself, that I forgot to take cuttings again. I was so upset & angry with myself.

Hi Dwyllis .. Thanks.
Those Pelargoniums sound beautiful ...
Is there a way you could ask a neighbour near your previous house to obtain some cuttings for you ?
