Corydalis Red !

This is one that grows in various places in the garden and although it was never purchased as a named form always assumed it was C. 'George Baker' Until i decided to remove a flower and compare it with a known plant of 'George Baker'It was surprising to find it to be several shades darker and lacking the light flare of G.B.
Not a lot of people know that and even less want to,however a welcome splash of colour outside.

It's lovely btw. Are cordial is related to dicentra Brian? Only for some reason, this just reminded me of dicentra.

This is a lovely plant Bjs. I got Corydalis solida George P. Baker last Saturday. It has dark rose coloured flowers with violet on the inner petals. According to the grower the shade of red depends on the situation and growing conditions. I have read that the cooler the winter the darker red is the flower.
