You should Scottish they are wonderful. Although the price is less wonderful (in Canada)

Klahanie - my local nursery is a peony specialist, yes prices are rather steep!

I would not like a peony specialist close to me , Scottish as these are my very favorite flowers . I would be a permanent fixture there.

Mine too Klahanie! Last year I was going to blog at peony flowering time but weather was so bad the display wasn't great. I'm hoping for better luck this year. Keep an eye out for it!

Sounds like I was lucky to find my two (I've got this yellow tree one, and a red herbaceous one) already in the garden when I moved in then!

Yes Klahanie, I really like the foliage too once the flowers have gone.

Will look forward to your blog Scottish (and keep my fingers crossed for better weather!).

What else?

See who else is growing Paeonia lutea (Tibetan Peony).

See who else has plants in genus Paeonia.

This photo is of "Peony - Tree" in Geranium_gem's garden
