Oooo now thats unusual a new one to me,very pretty, off to google lol :-)

It's evergreen Kathy only 100cm in height winter hardy up to -5 I had it in a big pot in the greenhouse through the winter , the brown leaves with the pink flowers goes so well together :-)

Thanks Sandra / Ph mine had an odd flower on occasionally all through the winter in the unheated greenhouse ,I guess it's a little muddled up !
That's good news Lulu the Octopus will soon grow and spread they are very tough and don't mind what weather you throw at them :o)

Gorgeous colours Amy....isn't it unusual!

Amy the leaves on ours are almost black, do yours change colour, we have had ours outside for about two weeks now.......not sure whether to plant it in the ground or keep in a pot!!

This is the one we bought when we met you Janey do you remember it was in the car boot :o) mine had been this lovely colour ever since we bought it Dd there hasn't been a change in it ,I keep mine in a pot it's winter hardy to -5 but I wouldn't want to risk losing it in our winters I put it in the greenhouse in the winter ...
