This is lovely, Wildrose.....more colour than at Anglesey Abbey were I am at the moment! A little disappointing really, would've been better coming down to see your garden....ha ha! I guess the temperatures have been higher in Devon than here in Cambridgeshire! It was certainly milder in Essex when we left home this morning!

Oh no Paul that's a real shame.....I love Anglesey abbey....great in winter too!
Don't worry...... Cafe is good! Never tried the scones though?

Paul if you came to see my garden the afternoon tea might be a disappointment as I am not the world's best cook!!!
It is now much cooler here than it was early this morning by the way.

Very little on show at Anglesey...I was very disappointed but, I obviously went at the wrong time...And the cafe..Julie had a fantastic chheese and herby scone but the gluten free option was very disappointing...no g.free lemon drizzle as advertised and the coffee was cold ...ho hum!!!

Sounds like 2 out of 10 Paul? :-(( try to go back when the snowdrops are out if you can. Did you like the white/silver birch trees?

Yes...lots of great trees and the copper beech hedges , superb!!!!

Looks fabulous and lush, worth the detour, you can have your path back in the winter:-)) Sticki, lets all go to Wildroses:-)))

But then you would see all the weeds and overgrown areas and messy bits!!!
