Never heard of this one - it's a little beauty, Sheila, and oooh, NO, I can't quite get that far down to smell the scent. :o( I shall have to take your word for it.

Lol Gattina . . . I do remember a lovely fragrance last time I was down there - it was getting up again that was the problem :)

I have the same problem when dancing on tables - it's not the dancing that's the problem, just getting up there in the first place. (Getting down again's a bit of a challenge, too)

Annie - I have now seen "last year's" P. Chattahoochee emerging, and about to flower, and I thought I'd lost it. So now I can say Yes, it is fully hardy. I'm delighted that it has survived the winter!
