These are just over 1ft tall Scottish can get to 2ft, I grew these from seed last year and have them all over the garden in sun and part shade, some don't look like they'll flower this year and are making much bigger rosettes so maybe bigger ones next year, they're listed as perennials and biennials?? but bulbaholic informs me they do die after flowering so 'I'll definitely be collecting seed :-)

Yes, very nice. Pity they are more like biennials but you can keep the system going.
