Nice. I grew some from seed, bit late in tne year tho but they're in the coldframe ready for planting out next year.

Yes Sandra it is highly poisonous ! Slad I'm sorry I can't find the label which is unusual as I always try to keep them ,I can't even remember whe I got it form maybe someone gave it to me If I split it I will save a piece for you ..

I had some in my last garden, Amy...did I send you seed? Aconite is an old poison...errr I think it's called Monk's hood, right? after the monk's attire? It's a beautiful blue, that's mainly why I bought it...you know me and my love of all plants blue.

Yours are much later than mine Amy, which flower mid summer. Gorgeous colour blue isn't it, don't forget your gardening gloves when touching it, I bet you know every part is poisonous, I did dig one of mine out as I didn't want Lottie rubbing past it.

No Lori this one didn't come from you and yes it is also called Monks Hood ! I know it's poisonous Janey but never think of wearing gloves I must remember if I'm going to be touching it ...Definitely Meanie , a lot more flowers have opened since this and are blooming they make a lovely late show in the garden ...
