Sometimes the rose hips are as pretty as the flowers. Have anybody tried making jam from them? I like the jam but think that it is lots of fussing.

Thanks everyone, yes the birds do eat the rose hips suey187....
Have never heard of rosehip jam klahanie...:)))) years ago as a child we used to have rosehip syrup everyday.....a spoonfull suppose it was for the vitamin c....

How about rosehip tea? Also loaded with vitamin C. I have never heard of rosehip syrup :=)
My mother used to make the jam.

You may get some more information on the www about rosehips and recipes. The birds will peck at these when they are soft.
