Thanks everyone. I intend painting more of the flowers in this book, it's finding the time that's difficult! I'm hoping to learn more about techniques by working my way through it. Should have started at the letter 'A' really but this pansy caught my eye!

Lovely painting Louisa.... I very envious, I cannot draw for toffee, and love to see drawings by other people.My grandaughter Grace is brilliant at drawing, been doodling ever since she could hold a pencil!, love to look at her art book.

thanks all, I only tend to paint at weekends so don't really get enough practice, but one of my new year resolutions is to paint more so I hope to stick to it! Gralew, I'm not that good at drawing either, takes me ages and is the hardest part. Practice helps though :)
