Very pretty planting. Good to see that you have escaped the flooding this time, Spritz, thank goodness. I have planted some of these little bulbs in pots but they are nowhere near in flower yet.

Trying to answer all the questions: No, Brian, they've been in for about 5 years. They're multiplying, which is great!

Andrew, I think there's 'George', 'Katharine Hodgkin', 'Harmony', 'Claudette', 'Purple Gem', 'Alida' and 'Pixie' in that bed. I think there might be others, but I can't bring them to mind. I think I might have posted them in the 'my garden' section of the site...

Gee, I do try to have a few in pots, but I find that they give up after that year's flowering. They seem to prefer being planted deeply, and to remain undisturbed.

darker than Harmony but as I am blue purple colour blind they are just different shades of the same colour.
OH says more purple but still blue ???? does that make sense?
