Thank you! I was going to use several different types of alpines in this rock garden but the Daphnes like it so much that I didn't want to use anything else! I like how it looks with nothing but Daphnes and there are always flowers open.

It looks lovely with just the Daphnes always best to grow what you really love and to have flowers always open is a big plus.

oh, nice! petite plants - what will their eventual size be? as they're Alpines, I shouldn' t imagine that they'd be huge. I've only seen Daphne as large shrubs, so this is a revelation, thank you!

The only non-daphne is in the top right corner of the picture, that is a heather so I'd have a few winter flowers as well. The Daphne on the top left corner is 'Rosy Wave' and that will be the largest out of all the ones in this image, possibly 2-3ft. tall and wide. 'Stasek' on the bottom right will probably be no taller than 1ft. and about 18 inches across. 'Lawrence Crocker' on the bottom right will probably be close to the size of 'Stasek'. The two smallest ones in the center will be the smallest. Daphne circassica (in front of the rock towards the upper right side of pic) will not get much taller but will spread out more. 'Wilhelm Schacht' (bottom row, in the middle) is the slowest, I don't remember exact size but it stays compact and round.
