I have this sort as well, they are extremely beautiful with greens behind them. Unfortunately, mine are delayed this year.

but think of the display you'll have when they do come out, Kat - and if they start later, they'll finish later, and so you'll have them when others have faded

Well, that´s one point of view, lol.

Olive O see what you have done now, everyone is thinking of cream eggs, me included, and I dont like them, too sickly, considering I have a really sweet tooth, I cannot understand how I find it difficult to manage even half!! a bit like a Mars bar, now a box of Ts Continental.....now that is a different matter!!
Getting back to the Narcissus, it is the first time we have grown these, and we shall grow them again, they are semi-shaded so they will last longer, so pleased you like them, wafting the scent to you .......!!

That's beautiful, yes see the creme egg resemblance my favourite mmmmmm.

and it's the right time of year for chocolate eggs to "bloom" though I think I'd prefer those in the pic, they last a lot longer!

Now you've have me at it, thinking about cream eggs I mean ! I'm not that keen Dd they are very sweet , these blooms are beautiful so many heads on each stalk .......

I find those cream (or creme) eggs oversweet, a bit sickly sweet for me.- maybe noticed it more when I stopped taking sugar in my tea! but the sweetness of the flowers has no limit for me ...
