We scrubbed up quite well,I think Carole..! Lol.hope you had a lovely day with Robin,and it would be more relaxing than our day,that's for sure..It was all go ,after our farm shop lunch to fortify us,then it was all go till 7.30pm..Alison and I drew the short straw,doing all the cleaning..at both places,whilst the boys were busy with rawl plugs,drill bits..(a few burnt out ones ! ) trying to get curtain poles up..nightmare ! .Two trips of three cars full of stuff,but at least we are ready for tomorrow,so the removal men can just get on with the heavy stuff..It feels like heaven to put our feet up tonight..but it will all be worth it :o)

Thank you,Chris..We love going to that very old pub ,and the scenery is part of the enjoyment,although living amongst it,we do tend to take it for granted sometimes..Not today though,as I feel very proud of our lovely County,seeing familiar places on The Tour de France..We had to record it,so we are just watching it now..and waiting for the part where it comes through Huddersfield,on it's way to Holme Moss into Derbyshire.It's quite emotional,when such an event is on our doorstep,so to speak..

Thanks Waddy..It's the Church Inn,at Saddleworth ,obviously next to the Church :o) You approach it from the main street in Uppermill..a fair climb up,but if you are a glutton for punishment,a nice walk..for some! They have just bought their first home together,Val,still in their village..and no more dead money renting !! So happy about that,and Thomas now has a garden to play in..or should I say,almost a field ! Lol.great football pitch .Lol...and surprise,surprise,she has finally shown a little bit of interest in having a few plants..so guess who's mind is working overtime on a plan ? :o) Hope all has gone well with your new kitchen..that's a major job in itself as I remember..Welcome to the tea makers club :o) xxx

No Sandra, kitchen refurb turning to be a nightmare!!but Me and Caroline have just enjoyed a lovely day out at Ragdale Hall, a spa centre, and I came back to more problems!!!!
Glad everything went well for Alison, glad Thomas has a garden for footy....I bet their first buy for him is goal nets, plants next!

Oh dear,Val,isn't it mostly the way? a few things not good at this end either..but nothing that can't be fixed..with some extra money they hadn't banked on..which they don't have right now,so will have to wait..I'm glad you had a relaxing day with Caroline,,kkep your chin up girl,you will get there eventually..x
