No Amy too many street lights. Many years ago when we lived on the I.O.Wight we used to go into the back garden and watch with the telescope and saw many happenings in the night sky. You need good weather to view too.

Our grandsons are always amazed at how clear our night skies are for viewing the stars they live in Lancashire where the street lights spoil the skies ...

oh, that's beautiful - so clear and so sharp. I must get an "ordinary camera" like that! or maybe it's more to do with who's holding it :-)

Its luck Fran I'm no expert ,take 20 you might get one good one that's my way of thinking Lol ....

me too! i tend to get a lot of camera shake unless i can lean against something, sigh ...

sigh, your "ordinary camera" must be a few steps above mine -I tried taking pic of the moon on eclipse night, all I got was a blob, even on full zoom.
