Thanks for the favourable comments on this piece of my garden too Terratoonie...I will hopefully at some time be able to download the photos from the same area when all my lilies and annuals were in full bloom (unfotunately I've lost the cable to go from my phone to my laptop ) so the only photos I had of the stairs were on my camera. I would of put Tags on both my photos but I'm having one of my useless moments with technology....happens frequently I'll pick it up eventually !!

Technology is great when it is all working well ... Lol.

I recently lost internet and hub due to an electrical storm (wrote about it in a GoY blog with photos) ... it was such a relief when I eventually got back on line !

I don't think I could ever get as absorbed in technology as I can in gardening ...! To me it is a means to an end and a frustrating one at that...My son can even tell by the tone of my voice on the phone when I need "computer help"...still I am helping him with his garden.He is fortunate in that he has quite a good size with a lawn and a lovely deck to play with & it's south facing and shielded from the winds..his flower bed is at least still alive

yes.. I only learn the technology which I need to take photos / use computer etc.

I take loads of photos mostly out walking in the parks near mine and of course my garden.There ware some great gardens and yards where I live...people are so imaginative in using there yards..I love seeing amazing large gardens but sometimes I think little is best...I'm hoping to achieve a sort of "secret garden" through my archway eventually..The little path being a glimpse of what waits through the arch

I wish that I could upload the photos I have when the Lilies were in full bloom ....(technology problems) I'm really pleased with the recent work in my downstairs yard I've spent the whole bank holiday outside with a paint brush...it may not be big but it's all mine and I have big dreams and ideas.

Creating a space which is "all mine" is one of the great joys of gardening, and it is such a huge satisfaction to produce something unique.
