Lower and Upper Lake from Indian Head--Adirondacks

No Campers on Lower Lake allowed, some on Upper Lake
The lower lake takes about hour-two hours of fairly fast canoes, and can have ferocious winds. But beauty, it is studded with Birch on both sides which reflect orange onto the water...in the fall. You go to the end, walk and get to Upper Lake, which is tranquility at its peak.

There's a giant Labrador on the right hand side!!

It is not a garden, it is part of the Adirondack Reserve. It is as pristine as it was centuries ago. Very eerie, water very deep and cold.

amazing scenery, love the trees and water together, I can see that Labrador on the side of the cliff too Karen. lol. now that would take some feeding. lol.

I should have added, one has to climb Indian Head to see this view. A beginner's mountain, so they say. Ha, ha, ha.
