Thank you Karen,I love it ,and so cheery by the front door..I think it is going to stay in a pot,so I can move it around to keep it a bit shaded in summer,which says is preferable..

Love it Sandra ! I didn't know they had to go in ericaceous ! I have two in the ground and one started to go yellow ! I think I better put it in a pot !

Thanks Rose.. I don't have naturally acidic soil,so each plant preferring it,was planted in a decent size hole with it,,and mulched each spring..also fed with appropriate feed ..when I remember! So far so good,and I've never had a problem with yellowing,and they have remained healthy in the ground....These are a Camellia,two Pieris,a Japanese Acer and another variety of Skimmia..No need to put yours in a pot,if you try doing the same..If this is the only plant needing it,I think you can buy a smaller bag. I have to get the bigger one..but it keeps ok,if you can't find one...:o This is the only one I have potted up..:o)

It looks lovely Bloomer good choice and should grow happily in it's pot for you a welcome at your door :o)

I may just do that Sandra. When we last went to Brigg, Rick filled the car up with compost , multi and ericaceous as it was on offer. 8 bags ! I'm amazed our little car managed it, especially as we had bought pots as well which were on offer ! At the moment though the poor Skimmia is hidden behind all the large bedding plants which seem to have took over this spot. Not that I'm complaining ! lol

I like that Sandra very bright and so cheerful for the dull winter days and lasts longer the choccy , I love spending vouchers x

Lovely choice Sandra, the berries are a real vibrant red.I'm a bit impatient though so I like fast growing plants!!:-)

I also can't believe you got all that in your car,Rose !Lol..I bet they like to see you and Rick arrive :o)That's another little project for you,if you decide to pot yours up...unless you just decide to dig plenty Ericaceous in and around it.. but maybe your other plants might not like it..?
