Helleborus Queen of Spades

Lovely. My hellebores were just beginning to break through but can't see them now but I think the ones I have are tough so may be OK.

I had this one in my first garden. It's very striking, especially against pale pebbles. :)

They are pretty tough Gill fingers crossed you will see them soon , I have some in gravel Karen they seed better in gravel , Thats good news Janey I'm thrilled I hope it gives you some lovely blooms :o)) It is a lovely colour Rose / Suey and has loads more buds almost ready to open ....

I love these dark colours, our dark ones will be some time I am hoping they will hang on until we open in April.

Yes Angela they will continue flowers for much longer right into the summer , I also take off the big leaves when they are in flower to show the blooms off much better ... x

Right I will do that, because in the past I have just left them to get on with it, a mistake I know lol....I only remove the leaves on the plain leafed varieties.
