Lovely, Spritz! :-)) Mine are nothing like yours! They have been burned in the cold strong winds we had last week & the edges of the petals are browned & some of the buts that were about to open have been so burned they can no longer open!

mine don't look too happy either. our market trader sells bunches at £2.50 for 6. I remember buying a bunch of 10 for 2/- [10p for those youngsters] back in the late 60's.
I love the colour of this one.

What fun to look at something real in your garden! we still have snow and brown grass. A few snowdrop in sunny sheltered spots. This winter just about finished everyone and every bush! The snow cover was ice at the bottom. So all Goys keep posting to cheer us on.Nice photo of yours too.

My Anemones are just making a come back after the the few days of strong cold winds we had a week or so ago. :-))
Just yesterday we had even stronger winds though not nearly as cold as the last. It was drying out all my pots & tubs & troughs & as I tried to water them in the face of the strong wind I nearly got as much water on myself as on the plants! :-))
My Anemone buds have greatly increased in number & this week, with the high temps forecast for Tuesday & Wednesday, I should see a lot of them opening! :-))

They are lovely, aren't they, although I grew 'Bordeaux' two years running and they vanished. It was very disappointing because they were gorgeous. :-((

Mine seem to be "winding down" but they have made a lovely show even if they weren't all purple as they should have been!

Do yours come back? Did not realize that I had commented before. One of the best!

As I haven't grown them for very many years I'm not too sure but I think they should flower again next year. I was deadheading some of them just this afternoon when we had some nice warm sunshine on the balcony. I do this with all my plants if I'm not interested in saving seed from them.
It has been difficult to get clear photos of the flowers as they are growing in pots with other bulbs, Crocuses, Mini-Daffs, Irises & mini-Tulips as well s Pansies!

Lovely, such a pretty colour. I love to see anemones. You used to be able to buy bunches of anemones but you don't see them very often any more.
