I don't know this plant Amy, but I'm sure it's name speaks for itself. It's a lovely flower.

I much prefer this one to the one I have which is just the common one.

We have Winter Beauty which is a hybrid of .. Frangrantissima it only had one flower last year, perhaps we might get two this year!!
looking forward to smelling the lovely perfume..???

Ours took a couple of years to really get going Angela fingers crossed you will have an abundance of flowers another year ....

I have Lonicera purpusii Winter Beauty too. Only a couple of flowers last year but quite a few buds this year.

I've seen a couple of Winter Honeysuckles around town but I've never grown them.
This is a lovely flower. As they flower in winter when there are few pollinating insects about instead of wasting energy on producing big flowers they produce lots of tiny flowers that with lots of scent that attract insects over a great distance.

That's the great thing about GoY! We not only share our plants but we also learn other things along the way! I've leant many things in the years I've been on GoY & I hope I've been able to help people along the way, too!

Balcony, its great isnt it on here. I've learnt so much over the years. I like seeing what people have growing throughout the year, its a great source of information.

What I like is the fact that you can so easily ask advice and get the information you need almost instantly at the touch of a button from the dedicated gardeners on GOY ... you are all brilliant :o)

You are brilliant too Amy :-)))))

I totally agree with that.
Although you can look up info on the net there is nothing as good as speaking to real people with real experience & GOY folk are so willing to share their knowledge.
