Lovely Linda, but green? Looks more like my yellow. I do love all Orchids but Cymbidium are the ones I grow, only because I can provide them with the easy conditions they need.

It is on the kitchen window sill so I had to put the light on thus casting a yellow glow. It stays in flower all Christmas. Thanks girls for your comments. The weather here is pretty bad and we are suffering from our neighbours burst water pipe in our bedroom. :0/

Oh no....there's enough water outside without it coming in! :(

Old houses with lead pipes I'm afraid. We have had all of ours replaced but our neighbour still has lead and we get it into our house if there is a leak. :0/

I really feel sorry as well for the people who have had their homes flooded because of these weatherfronts that we've had.

I really feel for the people whose homes have been filled with horrible dirty water. Drying it all out will take months for them and Christmas will have very little cheer.

It's amazing how others have rallied round to help them. That in itself shows the spirit of Christmas.

I agree Linda. It gives you faith in human beings when so many terrible events are happening round the world.
