Cerinthe major .purpurascens

Normally this seeds itself all over the place, just found one plant this year........can remember buying this plant many, many years ago it was the IN plant to have in your garden, where has the time gone?

Its' approx 12" tall maybe a little more Cariad , Funny you should say that Angela I only has one plant left last year but managed to save seed from it so have several plants this year I'll save you some seed in the autumn ...

I grew them from seed last year and had many dotted about, not one seed seems to have come up this year.
I'm seriously annoyed as it's such a lovely flower. I had some seeds left from last year though and will see if that comes up.

I love this. I've grown some from seed this year but its not as far on as yours of course.

We are usually pulling them up, it must have been the damp winter that saw them off!!

They are rampant here, been pulling them out, 12" haha, double that size here.

My seeds didn't take this year - temperamental things!
