Hi Delonix .. thanks .. this is a winter flowering jasmine and mine does not seem to have scent.... I grow it more for the lovely yellow flowers ... I have several of these climbers around my property, to brighten up the winter gardens.

I was most likely thinking of Jaminum multiflorum. It's very common here...however, I think it's too tropical for the U.K. being native to Laos, Burma, Thailand and Vietnam.

I like the combination, TT, the Jasmine adds more colour to the Garrya elliptica which is really not very colourful on its own.

Like you say this Winter flowering Jasmine has no perfume, unlike most winter flowering shrubs that use perfume to attract the few pollinators that might be abroad during the winter.

they do go well together don't they, Jasmine and James forever :o)
