I won this rose bush, and this is the first flower. I have no idea what kind of rose it is. Suggestions are welcome.

Beautiful rose, Aleyna! If you could upload a couple of photos when the buds are just starting to open maybe we will be able to get a better idea of what kind of rose it may be.

for example have very pronounced flowers & are mostly single flowers on a stem. Whereas floribundas have many, smaller flowers on a stem

There are many, many other kinds of roses but these are two that are very popular with gardeners.
