Love these too Dotty, a proper dinosaur plant. It does look attractive in its blue pot though and you can shelter it if need be...

If you planted it outside I suppose you can always keep a fleece handy to cover it if need be DD.

A wonderful plant , that's a tough decision to make, I would be tempted to keep it in its pot for at least another year before deciding ..

I do love these, Dd. I think if you’re in the south you may be ok, I wouldn’t be here in Yorkshire. It’s be a houseplant for me.

It looks great in the pot! Here in San Diego it is only planted into the ground and grows pretty tall at least 10’ .
It’s a very hardy cycad. If you ever want to see many cycads the San Diego Zoo has the second largest collection in North America.
