One of my all over favorite plants DD. They were popular landscape plants where we lived in Mexico (in winter). Huge.
They can handle a little bit of frost and if you live in south part of England you are probably OK. I did read that some are growing them outside in UK.
We call them here Sago palms even they are not palms at all.

Hmm, possibly too cold and wet at the moment.

Love these too Dotty, a proper dinosaur plant. It does look attractive in its blue pot though and you can shelter it if need be...

If you planted it outside I suppose you can always keep a fleece handy to cover it if need be DD.

A wonderful plant , that's a tough decision to make, I would be tempted to keep it in its pot for at least another year before deciding ..

I do love these, Dd. I think if you’re in the south you may be ok, I wouldn’t be here in Yorkshire. It’s be a houseplant for me.
Looks striking in its pot!

It looks great in the pot! Here in San Diego it is only planted into the ground and grows pretty tall at least 10’ .

It’s a very hardy cycad. If you ever want to see many cycads the San Diego Zoo has the second largest collection in North America.
