Corydalis solida... Beth Evans..

They are pretty, aren't they? I'm thrilled, my 3 red ones are just surfacing in the border. They don't seem to spread as energetically as the blue one I used to have in my last garden. I wonder why? Does this one spread well, Lincs?

Not sure yet as its new a gift from another member last year Anget, I've never had any success with the blue one, must try again...

I just don't seem able to keep Corydalis.

Last time I texted him was several months ago. I must get in touch with him and see how he is getting on...

Yes Brian and I are both in Through the Garden Gate, in fact I put the shot of the plant on to show him how well its doing... Klahanie I bet he will remember you, he is a lovely man and I have quite a few plants that he has sent to me, I will say hello for you...He is on Facebook , are you, I'm sure he would love to hear from you..If you don't know his surname I can PM it to you..

Kate I will keep it in the pot until it needs splitting, when I have spares I can then pop some into the garden, I'm being extra careful as I've tried the blue ones many a time but they don't like my soil and never return...

Lovely plant and delicate flowers. I have the blue ones and they are in a semi shade position. They have the leaves emerging now.

This is a lovely flower! I wouldn't be able to grow it on our balcony as it's in full sun from 11am till the sun goes down so it wouldn't like it here. 😞
