Yucca gloriosa variegated, my Spanish dagger!

My ‘little’ yucca, planted in the same spot for well over a decade. Possibly 14 years...
One ‘long’ snowy winter a long time ago...it was decapitated. However, it steadily grew back. I think it hasn’t really grown ‘ a lot’ as it’s not in full sunshine, but, under the canopy of an acer and a ‘juniper tree’. It does see some later afternoon sunshine..

It's very striking, Kate. I like the colour combo.

Yuccas like good drainage and sunshine but not sun all day. They can be grown in a pot. Lovely plant Kate. Love the colouring in the spikes. Klahanie, this is just a suggestion and I don't know if it would work or not but could you put some gravel underneath?

If it has an offshoot Kate try growing it in an earthenware pot.
